The World of Forums.

Watched this yesterday. Totally loved it. Pontus is a BIG inspiration and definitely one of the most interesting characters in skateboarding. I’d loosely agree that it has a more conventional structure than SOTS but there is still so much in it that sets it apart from your common-or-garden release. Some of the interludes are pretty macabre. He definitely seems to have a bit of a preoccupation with death, maybe explained by losing his dad so early, and it seems to be reflected in the way he lives his life and absolutely refuses to compromise. There is also quite a bit of overlaid animation similar to recent volcom / flip releases, but it works well.

All I know is that I need to get over to Malmo asap. The scene over there has got to be one of the strongest and tight-knit around? Loved the continuing story theme of steppe side, and not to give to much away, it finishes on a redemptive high note with its latest reincarnation. That sibbarp park also looks incredible.

Basically, it’s a must see and is stupidly cheap at 6 quid. He can’t be making anything out of this, but the least you can do is help a brother out! / Deegwaad
