hello pontus, yesterday i finished a little clip about our DIY spot that some friends built. A very bad concrete rudolph park…
The scene here, the part of Germany called Saarland,is one of thr poorest regions in Germany. It is small but since years we did a lot of things to create a better situation, inspired by your work.
I am near to finish school of art and I work in different mediums. This video will be part of an installation.
Maybe if you like it, you can put it on your side, so a lot
of people can see it and the riders here will be very glad
because normally nobody is interested in what they do..
Thanks and all the best
Alexander Karle
Hi Alexander, the spot looks great. Stoked to see this clip and thank you for sharing it. I am glad that my videos inspired you guys to take control over your situation. I know how it is to live in a small town with nothing to skate. You guys have the right spirit, just make it happen is the way to go. Work hard and believe in your dreams. You guys have done a good job so far, keep going and it will only get better.
Good luck with your art school and your installation.
Once again thank you and I am always interested to see what other skaters do and what they create.
Skaters for skaters always.
Stay inspired.
I am very busy at the moment, things are really starting to happen around here. I am going over 1 years of tapes…Loads of work, I am working on a film for my company…..Looking good, the goal is the have a full-length thing done after the summer….Going to Hamburg on sunday morning, skating filming and working on products…
Very busy but busy is very good.
The film will be like my past films. All my friends and all the people I met just skating and enjoying life. There will be a “team” but the line is not very straight. If I could I would support all my friends and all the great people on this planet. Who knows maybe in the future.
Old new measured ny internet standards. This will be a nice piece of film, I saw some previews and it looks great.
Well done Phil and Nils, looking forward to see the final version.
My homeboy and neighbor Hjalte Halberg from Copenhagen send me this from Philly. He is staying with all time ripper Willy “aka always stoked on life” Akers in Philadelphia. They are working on some kind of Diy things, looks interesting. Hjalte hurt his knee in Detroit and slowly getting better day by day. He will be back on the board in no time. Hjalte is a ruler.
Here you can enjoy some images from our trip NYC – Detroit. More things about this trip will come out in a near future. The trip was banging. I don´t have any photos to show cause I only shoot photos on films and my negatives are at the Carhartt office in Barcelona….
Thanks to all the rippers over at 5 boro and thanks to all the wonderful people we met on the road.
