Long lonely days in tha office.

Sorry for being so bloody boring but I am going through a heavy work period. Trying to catch up with work but it seems to be impossible right now. So many things up in the air right now. Designing new pro models trying to get all the clothing stuff going getting samples made getting shit loads of shit made… Fancy stickers and what not. Tons of work and long long long days in the office right now. Really fucking fed up with it and my situation.

Running a entire skateboard company almost all by yourself is a fucking nightmare. Trying to find a way out trying to get some kind of normal life back. I been hitting the wall a lot lately  and I will hit it a couple of times more times but hopefully somehow there will be a solution to all this.

Now I try to get some sleep and then back to the wall in the office again. Great.

Not epic endless stoked right now.

I run a shop in the U.S. sometimes I get overwhelmed with ordering, bills, taxes, etc. although I’m sure it’s not to the same extent as you. Sometimes it sucks having to be the one to do it, but if not you? then who? Probably no one will be able to fill the great void you’ve created. Keep your head up, you’re doing good and original things over there! Praying for ya.

I put my cameras down until Polar helped me get through rough times. Now I’m making starting a new full length . People now about Polar all the way in Seattle, Wa . Skateboarding would be wack with out Polar. All is not lost in the United States and a lot of us hold the same views about skating as you do. Your hard work is paying off , you just can’t see it yet. Cheers Pontus.

35th North wants to carry Polar . We carry Palace and Magenta through Josh Stewart. We want Polar but Tony can’t because of all the extra fees. But when that gets taken care of 35th can sell Polar for sure!! The Palace was all gone in a week here.

Dude you really need to stop whining and start giving thanks for what you have. A lot of people would absolutely do anything to be in your position. You have an office and a job and a roof over your head and food on your plate, you are healthy, young and living in a modern country. Leave the self-pity for those who are really in trouble. Running an entire skateboard company is a fucking nightmare?, come on. Get help, get organized, share the workload, stop crying and above all, realize how fortunate you are.

    hey pontus,

this is what it feels to be selfemployed, martin and me (blackriver) have made the same experience and now 10 years later it´s still the same, just the issues changed… but anyways, it´s better than having a 9-5 job with a choleric boss ;-)

even though you have loads of work, don´t forget to live. this is pretty important, cause nothing, not even the best work can replace that!

btw, although it´s long ago, thanks for sending me another photo print as replacement for the postal damage, i appreciate it :-)

    cheers
    denise

My comment was not meant to piss you off but to show you a different perspective. By reading your reply I understand you can´t take an honest critic. In any case, I still believe you are a brilliant person (minus the complaining). No need to for harsh words, man.

To Ali Ben Bongo. I know about people in the third world I know there are people out there having a harsh life with no access to clean water / food / medicine / a roof over their heads and so on. All people no matter in what life situation they are in deal with different kind of problems that effect us human beings. No matter what kind of problems we have to deal with (western capitalistic problems or third world kind of problems, love problems etc) the problems still remains and they still effect us.

So please don´t tell me to stop crying cause

    1. You don´t live my life and you don´t know shit about how I feel inside.

2 You don´t know shit about if I am healthy or not. Is it healthy to have to deal with tons or stress and pressure? Work 6-7 days a week 10-12 hours a day with different shit. And if it was so easy just to hire people left and right to get help you can bet that I would have done it a long time ago but running a skateboard company is not really making you tons of money so you can afford to pay for a work army.

Then finally just because I live in a modern country does that make my life easier? In a modern country we have to deal with modern kind of problems things like money bills taxes work and what not.

3.Some more harsh words for you – take your bullshit else where and don´t bother me again. Prick.
