Another lovely day at my work. I started off the day with tons of e-mails, two interviews and some packing. After lunch it was finally time to do some fun stuff. I went to Bryggeriet skatepark and hooked up with my man Tobbe. We had a chat and went into the workshop / warehouse. I found some lovely old B52 ledges. I picked them up and some plywood, nails and some twobyfours and off to TBS. Thanks Bryggeriet you guys are the best.
I started off with gluing on the B52´s with our best friend PL400, construction glue. This is the shit, sticks on everything on any material in any weather. Fucking bullet proof shit.
So now let´s talk about mixing proper concrete. (See the images TBS mix 1-8 in the gallery bellow.)
Step 1: Find some golden sand and mix in some small stones
Step 2: Add portland cement. 1 part cement, 2- 2,5 parts sand/stones. If you are using the concrete for filling up things or making a pre-layer you can mix it 1 part cement 3-3.5 parts of sand/stones if you wanna save some money.
Step 3: Mix the sand, stones and cement together. Mix it well until it turns dark grey.
Step 4: Make a “volcano” and add water. (if you want your concrete to be sticker you can add some primer/concrete glue in the water)
Step 5: Fill in the “volcano” from the sides and then mix the shit out of it.
Step 6: Now you have to be careful, add some more water to your “DRY” mix but take it easy. Add it step by step. Water then mix add some more water mix. Small steps until you get it perfect.
Step 7: Once you have the “right” amount of water in, depends on how you want it. I like it medium not to wet and crappy and not to dry. But sometimes it is better to go for a little bit wetter mix if the sun is out for example. So anyway keep mixing it and flip it around a few times just to make sure there are no dry spots left in the concrete.
Step 8: Do the shovel test, if it stands up straight you know you got a good mix.
So now we got perfect concrete let´s move over to our little obstacle. How to build a curb. Puh enough. Watch the pictures and figure it out. Anyway It was a great day at TBS, a bit lonely down there but ah well my lovely girlfriend stopped by and shoot all these great photos for you guys.

Oh yeah if anyone from Malmö reads this I will be down there tomorrow, a lot of mixing to do for the B52 bank to ledge…
Found this clip over at the SLAP forum, Mr Fazilov is the shit. He is a true ruler and a really nice guy as well. Love his skating. I guess this clip is from Emerica Stay Gold extra? Does anyone know where we can see the whole thing? I might have a trick or two in there. Ha ha the old man.
I got a wonderful fanzine and a t-shirt yesterday, stoked. Thank you Mike. Unfortunately the t-shirt was a bit small, bummer. I really liked it sir. More info here: http://www.mikeosheadraws.blogspot.com/
enjoy.
